"No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it." - Albert EinsteinIn the last post we talked about Einstein's &
Popp's amazing discoveries. Einstein's E=MC2 changed the way science looks at the world and helped to launch the quantum age.
Popp's research confirmed that we are all literally beings of light. The work of these two men, along with countless others, has created a paradigm shift from the old mechanistic viewpoint of life that derived from Sir Issac Newton to a
vitalistic belief system. Since The Intention Method is based on
vitalistic principles, it is important that we discuss the differences between these two philosophies.
A
mechanistic belief system is based on the belief that there is nothing beyond the physical. Our world is comprised of only the things we can perceive through our senses of touch, taste, sound, sight or smell. If anyone following this belief system discovered something to be beyond the physical, they would conclude that the non-physical must be totally separate from themselves. This philosophy of life is also called outside-in thinking.
An example of a mechanistic belief system is conventional western medicine. Today's
allopathic medicine is based on Newtonian Physics. In this outside-in model, disease is due either to external toxic agents (bacteria or virus) or a mechanical malfunction of an internal organ or system. The focus of western medicine is to
treat the disease until physical symptoms disappear using drugs from outside of the body or using surgery to remove or replace malfunctioning parts inside the body.
A
vitalistic belief system, or inside-out thinking
, is based on the belief that the physical world is an extension of the energetic/spiritual world. Everything is energy & everything is connected. Following this philosophy, one would conclude that we are not separate from anyone or anything. This world & universe is the result of all of us energetic/spiritual beings having a physical experience.
Natural healing methods typically follow this inside-out belief system. The Intention Method is based on energy (quantum) physics. It focuses on the Life Force Energy flow within the individual. Since all power comes from within, dis-ease (lack of ease) is due to an imbalance in the quality & flow of Life Force Energy, not from something or some force outside of the body. This method
treats the person - not the disease.
Today, there is a time & place for both a mechanistic &
vitalistic belief system regarding overall health. In fact, there may not be a better choice in a major health crisis than conventional medicine. The emergency rooms across the U.S. save lives everyday. If I were to experience critical physical trauma from an accident, was severely bleeding, or suffering a heart attack, stroke, etc. I would be heading to the nearest hospital. Western medicine clearly does a fantastic job of "crisis" care.
However, when it comes to true "health" care,
allopathic medicine fails miserably. The third leading cause of death in this country is medicine. Medical mistakes kill at least 300,000 people each year in the U.S. alone (with some estimates as high as 700,000 per year which would surpass cancer & heart disease for the number one spot). With this current track record you would think they would make some major changes in their overall approach to health. Instead, they keep looking for the newest drug or surgical procedure that will solve all problems. This, of course, is more outside-in thinking. Einstein made his discoveries over a hundred years ago!
Where's the shift?Waiting for modern medicine to catch up to modern science can literally be hazardous to your health. When it comes to restoring, maintaining, and elevating overall health & creating a movement towards wellness, a
vitalistic based method of health & healing is far superior to the mechanistic "crisis" care of conventional western medicine.
